JOB TITLE: Family Medicine Physician
LOCATION: 904 7th Ave, Seattle, WA, 98014
DUTIES: Diagnose, treat, and provide preventive care to individuals and families across the lifespan; May refer patients to specialists when needed for further diagnosis or treatment; Serve as outpatient Primary Care Physician, treating 18 to 20 patients day, on average with 20/40 min visits; Work as part of a large Collegial group of Primary Care physicians and specialists on site; Conduct office exams , annual physical exams, follow-up appointments and in-office procedures; Provide patient health education and counseling on treatment options and disease prevention; Medication management for acute and chronic conditions; Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests; Developing and implementing treatment plans; Prescribing medications and therapies; Making referrals when necessary and coordinating care with specialists; Perform Outpatient Primary Care including office consults, annual visits, follow up appointments and in office procedures; and Service a full range of population from pediatric- to geriatric-aged patients.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a U.S. or foreign Doctor of Medicine degree and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a Physician-related occupation. Position requires three (3) years
of experience in the following:
* Diagnosing, treating, and providing preventive care to individuals and families across the lifespan;
* Managing medication for acute and chronic conditions;
* Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests;
* Making referrals when necessary and coordinating care with specialists; and
* Providing patient health education and counseling on treatment options and disease prevention.
Position also requires the following license/certifications:
* Washington State Physician License;
* DEA Certificate;
* BE/BC Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Certificate; and
* BLS certification; and
* ACLS certification.
Rate of Pay: $310,000 / per year
